ABOUT ROSALIND GREEN

My story didn't end when life got quiet. I finally had room to hear it.

I’m an author, speaker, coach, teacher, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a woman who has begun again more than once. My work now is helping other women recognize the story their own lives have been trying to tell.

AN EARLY BEGINNING

I chose freedom before I knew what it would become.

Hi, I'm Ros.

At 49, I retired from corporate management rather than accept choices that would have moved me backward. I took a small pension, the experience I had earned, and the belief that I could build something of my own.

That choice led to direct sales, leadership, coaching, speaking, self-publishing, websites, and online business. But underneath every title was the same thread. I loved helping people see what they could do, then teaching them how to do it.

Then came the move from California to Dallas.

We moved in the middle of COVID. New state. New home. New rhythm. I thought the story was about packing boxes and learning a new city.

But a move is never only about geography. It asks who you are when the familiar falls away. It shows you what you want to carry, what you are ready to leave, and what may still be waiting for your yes.

Home became the place where I could exhale.

I stepped away from public work. I rested. I learned. I enjoyed my husband, my family, and the beautiful privilege of not having to prove anything.

That quiet was not emptiness. It was space.

And inside that space, I recognized something I could not ignore. I was finished with the old pace and old pressure. I was not finished with purpose. I still wanted to create, contribute, teach, and earn in a way that left room for the life I loved.

“There is a difference between being finished and being free.”

Freedom gave me the choice to begin again on my own terms.

WHAT I MEAN BY THAT

Finished closes the door. Free lets you choose whether to open another one.

I did not need to return to who I had been. I could carry the wisdom, release the weight, and decide what I wanted the next chapter to hold.

That is the freedom I want for the woman I serve. Not pressure to keep producing. Permission to notice what still feels alive and choose one honest way to use it.

A Few Things I Hold Close

I believe purpose has seasons. I do not force every door, but I pay attention when one keeps opening.

Home is where I exhale. My husband, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grands are my world.

Live jazz, picnics, nature walks, a good conversation, and a peaceful room can be a whole celebration.

THE WISDOM LANE

The name I gave the road between lived experience and meaningful work.

The Wisdom Lane grew from my own return. It is the philosophy inside this work: look back without living backward, find the story that carries meaning, and let your wisdom become useful to someone else.
